There’s nothing like a good old-fashioned holiday light display and St. Louis is home to some of the best in the Midwest. If you’re looking for some free family fun this season, the crew at JJNRE has rounded up some of our lesser known favorites to add to your holiday light list. Best of all, nearly all of our picks benefit a charitable organization.

1. Candy Cane Lane

Neighborhood: St. Louis Hills

Location: 6500 Murdoch Ave. St. Louis, MO 63109

Why We Love It: Located between Ted Drewes and Francis Park, Candy Cane Lane has been lighting up homes (and hearts) for more than a decade. 

2. Geoff’s Christmas Lights and Garden Railroad

Neighborhood: Rock Hill

Location:1337 McKinley Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63119

Why We Love It: Kids of ages will enjoy the toy train display lit up by thousands of

sparkling lights. As you’re driving through, be sure to tune your radio to 89.5 FM to hear

Christmas songs synced to the beat of the lights.

3. Teddy Bear Christmas Land

Neighborhood: Crestwood

Location: 9211 Laurel Hill, St. Louis, MO 63126

Why We Love It: This family-owned, front yard extravaganza includes 200+ teddy bears,

life-size Nutcrackers and more than 35,000 lights. Best of all, visitors are encouraged to

get out of their cars and explore the holiday glitz up close.

4. Ladue Pine Woods Lights

Neighborhood: Creve Coeur

Location: Between Interstate 270 and Highway 141

Why We Love It: Nestled in the Creve Coeur community, this festively decorated home

is transformed into a winter wonderland with an incredible light display synced to holiday  music. 

5. Webster Groves Home Display

Neighborhood: Sherwood Forest in Webster Groves

Location: Near the Corner of Lockwood and West Jackson Avenue

Why We Love It: Enjoy a stunning display of holiday lights on a beautiful, Old

Webster Home – is just a short drive from our office!
