When Loren and Karen Ahaus first decided to sell their property in 2010, they had a unique challenge: they had already moved to Texas, and their house was in Kirkwood.

“The distance was a huge disadvantage for us the first time we tried to sell,” said Loren. “There were problems with pricing and how the home was marketed. Living far away made it hard to resolve those issues…eventually we took it off the market.”
